A well laid out and beautifuly maintained 18 hole championship course.
This is a sister course to Silvermere which you can find in the course directory on the left.

A very atractive and meticulously cared for course that is a pleasure to play, from the charm of the club house through the lush sweeping fairways to the garden around the eighteenth green.

The course is set in peaceful suroundings and is very well designed with short walks from green to tee, an excellent halfway-house at the turn and the eighteen hole finishing right outside the clubhouse.

For the most part the course is tree lined but not impenetrably so. The fairways are well defined, heavily but sensibly bunkered and have a good covering of grass. The greens are a good size and very well constructed and often well protected with bunkers, slopes and mounds. The teeing areas are excellent. All in all this makes for a challenging but fair course, enjoyable for all players.

There is a well stocked pro shop with very friendly and accomodating staff. The club house has an excellent restaurant as well as 2 conference rooms a fully licensed bar and spike bar, 3 snooker tables and a squash court.

The course starts with a fairly straight forward 375 yard par 4. Fairway bunkers left and right at 180 yards out with a generous landing area beyond. There is one more fairway bunker short left and two more greeen-side. The green falls away at the back where there are a number of mounds.

The fiftheenth is one to watch out for. It looks fairly innocuous from the tee. The fairway is generous enough with a wide bunker right 190 yards out and a smaller one left at about 280 yards. Keep right off the tee as it doglegs left about 80 yards from the green which is tucked behind two left front bunkers with one more bunker to the right. The green itself is quite wide and falling off sharply to the left and back and is rather difficult to read.

Hole sixteen is one of the toughest on the course. A 470 yard par 4, a slight dogleft left with a large bunker 250 yards out and two more 120 yards and 75 yards from the green. The approach is uphill to a small green protected by 3 side bunkers and falling ground to the back.
