| Draconian dress policy required that my playing partner returned home to change into a pair of shorts without 'pockets' prior to playing, and I witnessed another visitor being turned away whilst waiting for him to return.
Course did not live up to the £35 green fee: greens fair, but cracked and under repair in several areas without proper demarcation.
Members rather impolite and some dreadfully slow play exhibited and poor knowledge of etiquette.
I played here end of July, the course and greens were in excellent condition. True they are very hot on dress code.

| I played this course once on a hot and breezy
summer's day. It was immaculate - the greens like lightning and as a 20
handicapper I found it very tough. My playing partner was off 9 at the time
and took the back nine apart, but then when one drives 300 yards plus there
are not many courses to frighten you! (HA! editor)
There are 4 or 5 really good holes on this course - very much risk and reward on the 2nd shot, particulary if one is hitting more than a 7 iron into a green. They will hold but only with height - a low long iron just will not stop and the bunkers are very well positioned.
A really enjoyable course as a one off, but I wouldn't want to play it every week.
